ALTIFIX

 

Anchorage post or lifeline support which integrates a patented activation and absorption mecanism.
The ALTIFIX has been developped and designed to suit most types of roofings.

ALTIFIX are life-line fixing or anchor points that can be attached directly to parts of the roof without cutting.
A release and energy absorption mechanism is included in the ALTIFIX tube to reduce the
loads on the fixings.

A ball pivot link enables multidirectional release.

LOCATION INDEPENDENT OF THE FRAMEWORK.

INSTALLED WITHOUT ACCESS TO THE UNDER SURFACE.

WATERPROOFING EASILY RESTORED.

		ALTIFIX for steel deck Ref. AFX2-FR Fixes directly to steel deck using inserts on the crests of the corrugations. Standard plate for 250mm, 280mm and 333mm centres. Minimum thickness of steel tank 0.63mm. Water tightness ensured with 4 EPDM washers. Fixing kit Ref. KV2 (sold separately).
		ALTIFIX for Zinc/Copper covers Ref. AFX-ZN Mounts directly on the zinc or copper. The 4 hinged fixings are attached to wooden battens. Water tightness ensured by 4 EPDM washers. Replacement possible without removing the cover. Fixing kit Ref. KV.ZN (sold separately).
		ALTIFIX for PVC sealing Ref. AFX-PVC Mounts directly on the waterproofing. A central fixing provides a connection with the roof support. Fully water tight, even after release. Replacement possible without interfering with the seal. Fixing kit (sold separately). Ref. KV.AFX (for 120 mm max insulating material) Ref. KV-AFX2 (for 200 mm max insulating material)
		ALTIFIX for bituminous seal Ref. AFX-BM Mounts directly on the waterproofing. A central fixing provides a connection with the roof support. Fully water tight, even after release. Replacement possible without interfering with the waterproofing. Grey membrane as standard. Other colours on request (red, green, white, black). Fixing kit (sold separately) Ref. 		ALTIFIX for aluminium covers with upright joints Ref. AFXKAL1 Mounts on upright joints without drilling the cover. Tightening maintains free expansion of the roof. Aluminium mounting clamps. Minimum thickness 0.9mm. Standard centres between joints 400mm. Other centres on request.
		ALTIFIX for asbesto-cement roof Ref. AFX-FC Mounts directly on the asbestos-cement board, attached by screws to the metal frame. Cannot be used with a wooden frame. Screwed through the asbestos-cement board into the metal frame. Sealed with 2 EPDM washers. Fixing kit Ref. KV.FC (sold separately).
		ALTIFIX for steel deck Ref. AFX1 Mounts astride a rib of the steel tank. Fixed with 8 self-tapping screws on the centre line of the support purlin of the tank. A. Fixing kit for metal beam : Ref. KV1M (sold separately). B. Fixing kit for folded steel section : Ref. KV1A (sold separately).
